I made this using Malabrigo silky merino, which is the nicest yarn I've ever used. It is really soft and not at all itchy, and has a beautiful sheen to it. I did tweak the pattern a little, as I chose to shape the waist, and I did some extra short rows over the bust as I have quite a full bust. Slightly annoyingly when you start the yolk the beginning of row marker gets moved, so that meant I had to work out where insert the sleeves so that it matched with the shaping I'd done. I've only recently got into my sweaters in the round, but I love them as I hate having to sew things up. Kitchener stitch works really well for grafting under the arms.
Although this looked amazing, it shrank really badly even though I washed it very carefully by hand, so sadly I shan't be using this yarn again.
