Product Details

Hearts of Oak Hat has a slouchy style that features the intriguing and fun to knit Hearts of Oak stitch pattern worked in Valley Yarns Northampton. Subtle, textured heart shapes are formed by increases and decreases, and while the right and wrong sides of the fabric look different, they both look fantastic. You may even be inclined to wear it inside out!

Finished Measurements: about 20” circumference
Yarn Requirements: 1 skein Valley Yarns Northampton (100% Wool; 100g/247yds) shown in #17 Red
Needles:
     US 7 (4.50mm) 16” circular and DPNs
     US 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular or DPNs for brim 
Gauge: 
     24 sts and 28 rows = 4” in main body pattern st with larger needles, after blocking
     18 sts and 26 rows = 4” in stocking st with larger needles
