First snow brings the first winter day. My daughter is always delighted to find frost patterns on a house or a car window; she always tries to make out shapes in those patterns. Nothing makes me want to knit a new cozy hat like the first cold morning when temperatures are finally below zero and everything is frozen. This design captures all that. GAUGE: 20 sts and 26 rows in stockinette per 10x10 cm/4x4 inches on US #6/4.0 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
