1053 Sea Ice - Waistcoat Knitting Pattern for Women in Valley Yarns Peru

Valley Yarns Sea Ice is a flattering textured jumper vest knit in Peru. This lovely vest is perfect for layering over a long-sleeved tee, turtleneck, or blouse. Diagonal ribbing at the bodice and hem add textural details that flatter every women’s figure. Sea Ice begins with two hem strips worked flat in diagonal ribbing. These strips are joined to work the body in the round to the armholes in stocking stitch, at which point the front and back are separated and worked flat. Valley Yarns Peru is a spectacular blend of baby alpaca, Merino wool, with a hint of nylon. Peru has a chainette construction that creates a warm, lightweight fabric with a gorgeous drape. The hem and bodice ribbing patterns are charted and written out.
