1:12th scale Baby Layette set

Written pattern. This is NOT suitable as a first project in miniature knitting.

Materials required: For complete layette – 100 metres of 1-ply yarn. 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles. (Note for a Heidi Ott baby use size 0.80 mm needles) Dress - 22 metres 1-ply yarn, small bead. Bonnet - 12 metres 1-ply yarn, small bead for neck strap or 2 mm ribbon. Mittens - 12 metres 1-ply yarn, ribbon. Bootees - 12 metres 1-ply yarn, ribbon. Pilch knickers - 12 metres 1-ply yarn, ribbon. Leggings – 25 metres 1-ply yarn, ribbon for waist. Matinee Jacket - 25 metres 1-ply yarn, 2 small beads. Helmet - 12.5 metres 1-ply yarn, small bead for neck strap.

Finished sizes: Jacket: Approx 4 cm tall, 2 cm across chest, Leggings: approx 4 cm tall. Dress: Approx 4 cm tall, 2 cm across chest.

Gauge not important as dolls vary in size.
