This is not a suitable project for a first attempt at miniature knitting.
Materials required: For complete set – 55 yards/50 metres of 1-ply wool are required. 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles. (Note for a Heidi Ott baby use size 21 needles). Heelless Leggings – 28 yds/25 metres 1-ply wool, small length 2 mm ribbon for waist. Matinee Jacket - 28 yds/25 metres 1-ply wool, 2 small buttons or beads. Helmet - 14 yds/12.5 metres 1-ply wool, small button or bead for neck strap.
Finished sizes: Jacket: Approx 1½-inches/4 cm tall, ¾-inches/2 cm across chest, Leggings: approx 1½-inches tall.
Gauge: Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary in size
