This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature crochet, due to the very tiny hook and fine thread used.
Materials required: Bassinet - 1 x 5g ball No. 80 crochet cotton or Tatting thread No 70, 0.50 mm crochet hook. Cover - size 0.60 mm crochet hook (US size 14 steel) for base, 0.40 mm hook (US size 16 steel) for ruffles, approx ½ a 5g ball of No.70 Tatting thread or No. 80 crochet cotton.
Approximate finished sizes: Basssinet - ¾-inch/2 cm wide by 1½-inch/4 cm long, by ½-inch/1.25 cm deep. Cover – approx. 1¼-inches/3 cm long by 1-inch/2.5 cm wide.
Gauge - is not important in this project, as miniature babies vary in size
