This fairly simple, but very visually pleasing, leaf lace stitch marries beautifully with just one hank of Malabrigo Worsted to produce a cowl that you will easily knit again and again.
The almost-theraputic nature of knitting with Malabrigo yarn is certainly a great thing, as are the gorgeous kettle-dyed colorways. The cowl shown here is in Orchid, a beautiful pink with lilac tones.
A few hours here and a few hours there working this easy-to-learn stitch, plus one joining seam, and you'll have this pretty cowl to throw on or give away.
The stitch pattern produces curved edges and lines that make this a truly feminine accessory.
