Gauge: 3.5 stitches and 3.5 rows = 1 sq. inch
Hat sizes: newborn - adult
Cowl sizes: 5 yrs to adult
Legwarmer sizes: 5 yrs to adult large
Fingerlesss gloves: 5 yrs to adult large
Flower: change size of flower by changing needle size.
Worked with Red Heart Super Saver yarn, and 6 mm knitting needles (US 10)
Uses 50 yards for Newborn up to 130 yards for adult (Hat)
Cowl, 130 yards
Legwarmers: 200 yards
Finger-less Gloves: 130 yards
Flower- 10 yards
Adult hat works up in 1 hour
No binding off of color changes, as the yarn can easily be carried up the end of the rows.
Worked flat, very easy for beginners. Can also be made in a solid color,
as the sequence of stockinette stitch and garter stitch will add variation in the
surface of the finished garments.
