I love a stash-busting project and this Scrappy Sunhat is no exception. I used DK yarn to create fun and funky hats that are perfect for a sunny day. I get sunburned really easily so I always have a hat on hand. My favourite part of this pattern is the fact that I can scrunch the hat into my bag so I always have one with me.
With this pattern you can make a Scrappy Bucket Hat, Scrappy Mid-Size Sunhat, or Scrappy Wide-Brim Sunhat.
This is an advanced beginner pattern.
You can use a combination of yarns but it will change the size of your hat. Check your gauge or try your hat on as you go. This is a really simple pattern to adjust.
You can add a ribbon by threading it through the space made by the chain 3's in round 23.
