492 Orchid Mitts - Handwarmers Knitting Pattern for Women in Valley Yarns Bromley

What appears to be a complicated colourwork technique is really just a simple slip stitch cable pattern on the stretchy, easy to knit Valley Yarns Orchid Mitts. You only work with one colour at a time, and the mitts are knit flat, leaving an opening for the thumb in the seam. It’s a great way to try out the lovely Valley Yarns Bromley!

Finished Measurements: Approximately 7” circumference, stretches to fit most women’s hands.
Yarn Requirements: Valley Yarns Bromley (85% Cashmere/ 15% Super Kid Mohair; 25g/96yds)
     colour A – 1 ball, shown in 23 Light Mint  
     colour B – 1 ball, shown in 09 Natural
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) 
Gauge: 
     32 sts = 4” in stitch pattern
     26 sts = 4” in stocking stitch
