Four right angles make a square and a great first geometry lesson in the Valley Yarns Maia Baby Blanket. Worked from the center out, bright stripes around the outer edges coordinate with the Maia Baby Cardigan. Add on to it with the child’s favourite colours as they grow to have a blanket that grows with them!

Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) 32–40” circular
Gauge: 22 sts and 44 rows = 4” in garter stitch
