Vibrant floral shades of purple and pink stand out in the Fabienne Cowl from Valley Yarns. This Fair Isle cowl is knit in Northfield Hand-Dyed, a fabulous DK weight blend of Merino, alpaca, and silk that takes colour beautifully and creates a fabric that has the perfect amount of drape and a very slight sheen. The colourwork pattern is charted and written out.
Finished Measurements: 8” wide; 40” circumferenceYarn Requirements: Valley Yarns Northfield Hand-Dyed by the Kangaroo Dyer (70% Merino/ 20% Baby Alpaca/ 10% Silk; 100g/248yds) 1 skein each:
colour A – 1 hank shown in Lupine
colour B – 1 hank shown in Mauve Flanders
colour C – 1 hank shown in Radiant Orchid
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) 32” circular
Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in colourwork pattern
