A Cute Isosceles is, as the name suggests, a triangular shawl with a difference! Thanks to the acute angle at the top, the triangle has an elongated shape.
The two lace borders in contrasting colours give this elegant shawl a beautiful, sophisticated appearance - creating a shawl which could either be worn over a formal dress or used to dress-up a casual outfit.
Any yarn from lace to fingering may be used. The 2 original shawls were both knit in lace and weighed under 60g (ca. 2.2 oz).
The centre is knit in stockinette. The shape is created through short rows (detailed instructions are included so it is suitable for beginners). The lace sections are charted.

ERRATA: Pages 2 and 3 of the pdf should read to pick up and knit stitches from the "left" edge rather than “straight” edge of the border.
