A Dozen Red is a lace cowl inspired by long-stemmed, red roses worked in sock yarn. I took the classic "rosebud" motif and added an extra layer of eyelet "petals" to make roses in full bloom. Twelve of them adorn this cowl, making a dozen long stemmed roses. The generous length means you can wear it long, or doubled for extra warmth.
The original version is knit in Knit Picks Stroll. The details on colors and yardage are in the pattern.
