The Aasgard Pass Hat starts with a garter stitch band which is worked flat. The I-cord is worked on the top and bottom of the band. The crown is picked up from on side of the band and worked to the top of the crown.
The pattern includes three sizes - 18, 20 and 22 inches around - and has directions for shortening or lengthening the height of the crown.
The Aasgard Pass Hat in the first picture is made with Cascade 220 and Crystal Palace Mochi Plus. The hat in the second and third pictures is made with Jorstad Creek Vashon and Camano. Cascade 220 and Malabrigo Worsted would also make a gorgeous combination.
