Adi the monkey

With this very easy pattern, you can make a realistic and versatile monkey or hanging monkey.

Size: 5.5 inch / 14 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.

The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.

Materials For this monkey you'll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You'll need three colours of yarn: warm grey (1/3 of a 100 yard skein), rust (1/3) and dark brown (black, 1/8). The quantities are estimates. For the eyes I've used 12 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 0057, 9427and 0052.
