The Adventure Awaits blanket with it's sailboat design is suitable for both girls and boys, and perfect for summer babies. However, the pattern doesn't just have to be for babies, I have included instructions on how to adapt the size!
The blanket is suitable for a beginner crocheter.
The pattern is written using UK terminology, however I have included a section to help those who use US terminology.
The blanket pictured uses Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo DK with a 4mm hook. Any DK yarn would work, however aran would be lovely to (but the blaket would be larger!)
The blanket pictured measures 26" x 30" (66cm x 76cm). However, I have included instructions explaining how to create a larger blanket.
