I used the fine boucle yarn, but any laceweight mohair will work beautifully with this design.
I have a free pattern for a shrug that goes lovely with this set.
You will need these needle sizes, laceweight yarn and a small amount of soft vinyl for the skirt. 2mm 2.75mm 3.75mm 4.5mm
