“Ajourette" is an asymmetrical, triangular shawl knit from side to side on the bias in one piece. It begins with a garter stitch on one end and finishes with a wide lace section.
Please note that lace section is charted only.*
Materials: * Any fingering weight yarn that knits up to gauge – approx. 560 yards (512 meters).
Please note that you can also make this shawl using two strands of lace weight yarn held together; however, you need to double the amount of yarn.
The samples are made with Sundara Yarn Fingering Silky Merino (50% Merino, 50% Silk) and Classic Elite Yarns Silky Alpaca Lace held double (70% Merino, 30% Silk).
