The Alexander Beanie is a beginner-friendly, simple knit hat with a fold-up ribbed brim. This pattern is knit from the bottom up in the round in 1x1 ribbing that folds over to create a double brim for extra warmth around the ears. Sizing is intended to fit an average woman's head which is 21-23" as stated in the CYC sizing standards. This pattern is appropriate for an experienced beginner with the following skills required: casting on, the knit stitch, knitting in the round, knitting 2 stitches together.
