Amazing Earth Triangular Shawl

This pattern is a lovely triangular shawl that is started at the top center back and increased 4 stitches every other row thru the main body to make two isosceles triangles. The body stitches are then cast off as a lace edging is created along the bottom edge.

The body pattern is a 10 stitch, 10 row repeat with a variation along the bottom edge of the triangles. The lace edging pattern includes an optional beading for a added special touch if desired.

The coloring (which where I get the 'name' from) is done by blending six different colors ways of yarn (three are solids and three are varigated). The directions for the color changes are included in the pattern and can be followed exactly or used as a basis for your own color design.

The yarn used in the pictured shawl is all from Cherry Tree Hill but this shawl would also work well with any fingering weight or sock yarn combinations esp. the fingering weight yarns from Koigu or Claudia's Handpainted Yarns which also have lo
