This pattern was originally published in Making Magazine - Dusk.
The blanket features diamonds of two sizes encased in the moss stitch edging. All stitch patterns use only knit and purl stitches, and look polished from both sides. Easy to memorize, this project is perfect for meditative knitting sessions and beginner friendly, too. As the borders are worked as you go, the finishing is minimal.
The pattern is written for a generously sized throw, but the size of a finished blanket is completely up to you. Detailed instructions on size adjustments are provided. Changing the size of the blanket will affect the amount of yarn needed. Instructions for calculating the approximate yarn uptake for a custom size are provided in the pattern. Directions are both charted and written out.
