••Finished Size: This pattern let's you make two different sized hens depending on the yarn thickness and hook size you use. The large hen uses Worsted/Aran weight yarn and a 2.75 mm hook. The small hen uses Sport weight yarn and a 2.00 mm hook.
If the recommended yarn thickness and hook size are used the finished large hen will be 28 cm (11.0 inches) tall by 22 cm (8.6 inches) wide and the small hen will be 19 cm (7.4 inches) tall by 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide. The large chick will be 7 cm (2.7 inches) tall, and the small chick will be 5 cm (1.9 inches) tall.
