Amigurumi Herbert the Felted Penguin

This little guy isn't just adorable, he's a fantastic first felting project! Just choose a 100% wool yarn, and crochet... then put the pieces in your washing machine and watch the magic happen! Felting instructions are included. Herbert measures 6 inches tall when completed.

To complete this pattern, you will need:

• size L (8 mm) crochet hook
• 3 colors of 100% wool worsted weight yarn (Ella Rae Classic and Plymouth Galway are the brands used in the sample, less than a skein of each is required): black, white and orange
• two 12mm blue animal eyes
• polyester stuffing
• sewing needle
• like-colored sewing thread
