Versatile, beautiful, fully-customisable Ancestors Bodice, knitted in any Worsted, DK, Sport, fingering or other yarn.
You can take Ancestors Bodice into couture style or historical depending on which yarn and length you choose.
With your chosen stitch count, yarn and needle size combination you can allow positive, zero or negative ease and make your Ancestors Bodice drape or hug your curves like a corset.
As a rough guide - you’ll need less than 100g of DK to knit a bralet in sizes XXS - M. For a full length corset-style bodice in DK for sizes up to XXXL allow up to three 100g skeins.
Work the gauge you like with the yarn you’ve chosen to create either tight tension and a more fitted corset-style Ancestors Bodice or go loose on bigger needles and let the cable stitch relax. All ways look glorious so you just can’t go wrong.
