These newborn baby booties are made in one piece (except for the drawstring at the top), so there is no seaming required. They are made from the sole to to top edge with sport weight yarn: 45 yards of the main color for the booties and 5 yards of the contrasting color for the drawstrings. These booties can easily be made with a larger hook and heavier yarn to make them in a larger size for older babies.
