Easy crochet pattern for a Girl's Baby Bonnet and matching Baby Slippers. The bonnet is easy enough for a beginner, although the slipper pattern is more for an intermediate beginner. Step by step instructions with lots of photos to guide you. Two patterns included. One written in English using standard American terms and second in British terms. It is very basic in terms of construction but the result is so pretty and perfect for baby. Can be made in wool for winter or cotton for summer. Folded back brim can be pulled out to cover and protect the face. Can be made without the brim, as well. Instructions for the flowers are included.
Requires Medium Worsted Weight Yarn [ Aran for Britain, 10 Ply Australia ] Crochet Hook 4 mm [ US G/6, Britain 8 ]. Uses mostly SC [ Double for Britain ]. DK yarn can also be used with a 3.5 mm hook working 1 size larger. Set works up fast, can be made in 1 or 2 evenings.
