Hello……..and thank you so much for considering my pattern “Baby Hugs” Baby Blanket, which is written in US terms. By using a similar yarn weight to which I used, the finished blanket should measure approximately 36 inches ( 89cm) x 36 inches ( 89cm); otherwise you can use ANY weight/type of yarn and hook size you prefer. For mine, I used a - 4 ply ( Sport/Fingering ) weight Cotton. A natural fibre for baby for any season of the year. The only stitch patterns I have used in this blanket are: HDC, SHELL (2 hdc/s), SC and BLHDC (back loop hdc).
