I designed this blanket for one of my grandchildren before he was born and we didn't yet know if he was a boy or a girl. Although I paired the colour blocks with white, the colour combinations are endless. You could even knit it all one colour if you prefer.
I have also knit this blanket in yarn weights from 4 ply (sport weight) to chunky (heavy worsted) with excellant results.
