Baby Poncho 'Little Stripe'

Rocket Clothing London by Linda Whaley. Knit this fun two colour stripe poncho with a cosy hood for chilly days. A great design for babies and young children, as you can slip it on and off so easily when baby is fast asleep in the stroller or car seat.

The shape and size of this neat little poncho is designed so that little ones can play and use their hands easily and freely. If you prefer a longer poncho just knit the next size up.

Knit this poncho flat on a pair of long (40cms) single pointed 5mm needles or fixed circular needles, with Aran (US Worsted) wool or wool mix yarn. This poncho is worked up in one piece with one seam at the centre front and another across the top of the hood. To ensure this pattern is easy to read, each size has separate detailed instructions. Just select and print the pages for the size you are knitting along with the instructions for all sizes and leave the other sizes safely in a folder for another project.
