A band of owls sits on the top and bottom of this cosy blanket. 2 sizes make it very versatile and it is suitable for a baby blanket, a throw for the end of the bed or for your sitting room. It has been knitted with chunky/bulky yarn, although any thickness of yarn could be used - the blanket would just knit up larger or smaller.
The pattern is easy/intermediate, as you will need to know how to cast/bind on and off, knit, purl, and simple cabling. (Even if it’s your first time cabling, you will be able to, it’s that easy!) Knitted on 2 needles or a circular needle.
I have not used any buttons for eyes, but you could put eyes on just one owl or on all - or for babies, you could embroider eyes instead.
