The Barnsdall Cardi is knit from the top down, picking up stitches along entire inside edge for a collar and button band.

Yarn requirements assume separate Gradient cakes will be used for body and each sleeve in order to match color transitions. If knitting with a solid color C1, 150 (150, 150, 200, 200, 250, 250, 250)g of yarn required.

This pattern includes both charts and written instructions.

Added Dec. 7, 2017: If you'd like to match the color changes in the sleeves to the body of the sweater, you may need to "skip ahead" in the yarn to match them properly. This is different for each colorway, so it might require extra yarn.
