I started these socks because I needed to keep my hands and mind busy, first during the big stress periods at the beginning of the confinement, and then during all the video conferences I had to do afterwards.
So this pattern is pretty easy to memorize (so that no one notices you’re knitting during a meeting), with two cables that you work only in every 12 rows.
The Bas sors pas are knitted from the ankle to the toes, with a heel flap and toes closed with grafting. The name is french and means: don’t go out socks.
