Bee Baby Blanket

I created this blanket for my boyfriend's niece. There’s a garter stitch border around the edge, colour work bees at the bottom, name at the top and a repeating structural pattern for the main body of the blanket. I used the intarsia method when knitting the bees with duplicate and back stitch. The size is easily adjustable and tips on how to alter the length, width and design are included. I have included a chart of letters and a blank chart to create individual names to add onto the blanket - please email me if you need any help with this. The gauge doesn’t really matter in this project so you could use any yarn you like – this will alter the final size and yarn requirements. I have used cotton as it is machine washable.

I used drops paris yarn but this isn't available so I have added an alternative - (50g/75m) - 550g, 825m

Colour A: Mustard (41) - 9 balls - 455g, 685m Colour B: Off white (17) - 2 ball used - 55g, 85m Colour C: Black (15) - <1ball used

Gauge: 17st by 22rows in stst.
