Beginner Ribbed Beanie

As the owner of an established knitting school, in which I have taught thousands of beginner students, I am well aware of how overwhelming choosing patterns for beginners can be. Many patterns are written for the knitter, who already has an understanding of abbreviations and techniques. I also know how much pride and accomplishment is gained from completing your first knitting project that you can wear and gift to friends. This beanie uses only knit and purl in a knit 2 purl 2 sequence. This pattern includes a lot of detailed instructions and photographs to help you make your project. I sometimes suggest YouTube tutorials for the techniques that are a bit trickier. I also include advice in knowing how to choose your yarn and how much of it, which will help you on our knitting journey. This beanie is knit flat on straight needles.
