For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: One 100g hank of 100% wool aran weight yarn.
Metres/Yardage: approx. 100m/108yds.
Needles: 5mm.
Notions: Two stitch holders.
Gauge (tension): 18 stitches and 24 rows to 10cm/4ins square over pattern when stretched using 5mm needles.
Size: to fit small to large hand.
My design idea and advice: These mittens are knitted on straight needles and have a seam to sew up. They use my favourite cable and rib pattern. Liek all my patterns once you get used to the pattren repeat you can sit back and relax with them. They are great for beginners who want to develop their knitting skills.
