Bille is a Danish word for beetle.
Bille is a childs sweater (boy’s sizes). The sweater/pullover is worked from the bottom edge and up with a 2-color pattern on the yoke. The sweater has a raglan yoke and sleeve construction and traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of approximate 90 meters per 50 grams.
The pattern includes directions for knitting a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with chest width 72 (78, 84, 90, 98, 106) centimeters and a length of 40 (44, 49, 52, 55, 59) centimeters.
This pattern is written for a knitter who is familiar with 2-color stranded knitting, a knitter who is able to follow written instructions, charts and work increases, decreases and pick up stitches. (Directions is a combination of chart and written text).
