Bindi Cardigan BJ30

Bindi is a cute little raglan-sleeved baby cardigan that features two-coloured tuck stitch borders. Two versions of the pattern are included, one with long sleeves and one with short sleeves. Both sleeve lengths include tuck stitch patterned edges.

Bindi is a seamless knit worked from the bottom up in sport or a light DK weight yarn. It is suitable for cotton for a light summer-weight cardigan. All parts of the cardigan are knitted flat.

Instructions are fully written out as well as charted and are given for five sizes (newborn - 3 months, 3 – 6 months, 6 – 12 months, 12 – 18 months and 18 months – 2 years). A detailed schematic diagram is included.

The pattern is for sport weight yarn (either wool or cotton). The long-sleeved version requires 2 [2, 3, 3, 4] balls of the main colour and 1 ball of the contrast. The short-sleeved version uses 2 [2, 2, 3, 3] balls of the main colour and 1 ball of the contrasting colour. (Based on 50g/125m balls)
