This blanket has been inspired by all the birds that we saw on our daily walks during lockdown, in Sussex, in the UK. They are all common and garden birds, but the more you look, the more you realise that while they may be common, they have such a variety of colours and designs. This pdf has 14 different designs for you to choose from, and you can make them all to create a blanket, or just pic your favourites to make a cushion.
It's worked using the intarisa colour change method, and each block is designed in a bold, contemporary way that means it's not too fiddly and would be a great project to learn with.
