Blue Mountains of the North

The Blue Mountains of the North is a drop sleeve, knitted bottom up sweater that is all about texture! Unquestionably, this sweater was designed with fall in mind. I envision the sweater to be layered over linen dresses or to be worn with your favorite jeans. There’s no boredom in this pattern--keeping things interesting, making for a fairly fast knit! Overview After the initial cast on (2 separate pieces), you quickly join in the round for a mountain explosion. There’s a little bit of everything: twisted stitches, mosaic knitting + slipped stitch color work for the mountains, short rows to create simple shoulder shaping and 1x1 twisted ribbing.
