Bowie Beanie -- a loom knit pattern

The Bowie Beanie is an eye-catching hat that you'll be proud to wear. This hat has a unique crown that can only be created using the Flexee Loom Links Skinny loom. My special double decreasing crown technique is most suited to an intermediate loom knitter. This design makes a really cute "+" on the top of the hat and the crown doesn't "swirl" like so many decreasing crown designs do.

The Bowie Beanie uses approximately 75 yards of worsted weight yarn in Color A, 60 yards of worsted weight yarn in Color B, and 5 yards of worsted weight yarn in Color C.

The sample used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn in Brown for Color A, Lion Brand’s Pound of Love in Taupe for Color B, and Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn in Linen for Color C.

The pattern includes instructions for both an adult medium size and an adult large size and is suitable for an intermediate loom knitter.
