The Braided Puff Ear Warmer by The Cool Crochet Society is the perfect accessory for keeping your ears warm on a chilly day while keeping your hair neat and tidy too.
It is made in a single piece, then the ends are sewn together. Once you have mastered where the stitches go, this pattern works up quickly and would make a great gift too.
This design uses a series of large puffs made at an angle to give a braided look.
The pattern is made for a standard ladies head size, and works up hole free.
The gauge for this pattern is to be worked out using a 5mm hook.
I used Scheepjes Stonewashed XL yarn to make my ear warmers, but you can use any yarn that calls for a 5mm hook. You will need around 100m of yarn to complete this pattern.
