A sweet, top-down pullover with a graceful, branch + blossom cable motif at the hem. The modified raglan sleeves are designed to stay put on your shoulders, while increases below the elbow give a slightly blouse-y effect without being over-the-top. The sweater is worked inside-out so that you barely have to purl at all! And all the hard work of charting the delightful cable pattern upside-down and inside-out is all done for you, so you can just follow the directions with ease (Not into charts? No worries--the cable pattern is also written out line-by-line for you).
The sample is worked holding a strand of mohair-silk lace weight with a strand of single-ply fingering yarn for a drapey fabric that’s out-of-this-world soft! Alternatively, you can work the sweater in a DK or worsted weight yarn to the same gauge.
