Breezy Nights Cardigan

Breezy Nights is a lightweight cardigan which is worked in lace weight baby suri alpaca and silk yarn. The design includes beautiful lace hem, cuffs and neck trims in fingering weight yarn which add timeless elegance to a garment that is already so soft and alluring. Breezy Nights is worked from the bottom up, starting with the lace hem, which is worked in fingering weight yarn. The body is then worked in lace weight yarn, with the front and back separated at the armholes and worked separately. The shoulders are then joined and sts are picked up around the armholes and the sleeve caps are shaped using short rows. The sleeves are then worked in the round. The cuff is made separately and joined with a three needle bind off. The trim is then worked.
