Brittany Coast Cowl is cast on at the neck edge and is knit top down. The cowl is knit flat and then joined in the round using either a three-needle bind-off or a sewn seam.
The cowl is easily adjustable in depth and the lace is simple but interesting.
This is a fast project and can be sized to suit any preference or yardage available.
This pattern contains both charts and written instructions.
A heavy fingering or sport would pair well with this pattern. Malabrigo Caprino is labeled as DK weight but I have found that it works up closer to a sport weight.
