The pattern is for the Brooke Beanie, a beautiful hat which has a wonderful "butterfly" pattern and a ribbed brim.
The finished hat measures about 21" around and 8" in height. The hat is worked in the round and has a seamless construction which means no sewing at all! Yippee!
The lacy appeal of the butterfly stitch makes it a lovely feminine pattern, while the ribbed brim adds a sophisticated look.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner STITCHES: Sc, Dc, Sl St. SPECIAL STITCHES: Fpdc, Bpdc, Butterfly stitch.
MATERIALS: About 3 oz(80 gms) of DK weight yarn Hook - G/6 (4 mm), UK 8 The pattern uses US terminology. A photo tutorial is also included.
