**Brucie **is an amazingly simple hat with a super stretchy edge that will fit a child of 9 months to 3 years though, due to the stretchy nature and the deep brim, it will stretch and last for longer. Worked in the round, in a DK weight yarn, this is a quick and enjoyable knit. You might find yourself inundated with orders!
**REQUIREMENTS **Size Options: Designed to fit a baby (9 to 36 months) this is based on average sizes and the hat is quite stretchy – overall size after blocking: - 9” (23cm) wide at top, 8” (20.5cm) wide on rib, 6.5” (16.5cm) tall with ribbing folded as high as possible. Note that measurements will differ depending on yarn, tension, blocking etc and these are therefore given as a guide only. Yarn: Hat shown used DyeforYarn DK Silk/Merino superwash 212m/100g and took just under 80g (170m). Needles: 3.75mm (US5) and 4mm (US6) either circulars or dpns to knit in the round.
