This is a Bruges lace scarf pattern which can be easily customized for use with a variety of yarn weights, lengths, and widths.
If this is your first time making Bruges crochet lace, I have included lots of photos to help you along. This is an intermediate level pattern but beginners shouldn't have a problem with it as long as they know how to Chain, Slip Stitch and Double Crochet.
Pattern in written in U.S. terms.
Finished Size
The scarf in the picture is approximately 58" x 6" but you can make it as long or short or wide as you like.
Materials
Less than 1 skein of any Worsted Weight (4) Medium yarn per colour. I used Caron Simply Soft and a 4.00 mm (g) hook for the one in the picture.
If you would like to make a Summer Scarf you could use a cotton yarn so that it would be lighter but still nice for cool evenings.
