The pattern for this blanket was inspired by Barbara Walker’s Moss Diamond and Lozenge pattern in her Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns. The proportions of the diamonds have been changed to resemble children’s building blocks. It is completely reversible.
The pattern is simple to knit, just using knit and purl stitches, so it is suitable for a beginner.
